Prior Authorization is one of the most expensive, highly complex and frustrating problems for US healthcare industry. US Healthcare spends more than $50 Billion annually on Prior Authorizations. For Providers they represent countless hours of lost productivity, loss of revenue and adverse effect on patient healthcare. For payers they are a necessary evil. Informatics In Context Inc. (IIC) has developed an automated Prior Auth solution which brings down the cost to the payer and provider by a magnitude, serve immediate actionable responses to the providers and improve patient healthcare, do away with countless phone calls and faxes and hugely increase the acceptability of a Prior Auth within the providers, thus directly affecting both bottom-line and top-line of Payers and Providers. As Director, Customer Service and a core member of senior management team, my responsibilities include setting up a clinical and technical support team, design and implement end to end (pre sales and after sales) customer experience strategies and infrastructure for measuring customer satisfaction, set up measurable goals and help the team achieve these goals. I am also responsible for design and implementation of highly complex and customised product implementation strategies for payers and providers. Along with these, I am part of core team for product innovation which takes strategic decisions on future course for the product, including new features and design improvements.
