Responsibilities: Oversight, strategic leadership, Financial and risk Management, People and operations and security management & Fundraising towards realising VSO’s Mission in Nigeria; capacity building of over 40 partners through network of over 100 International / National volunteers; Key Achievements till date - 1. Change Management and restructuring: led transformational change management to align with the global VSO strategy-People First and Nigeria country strategy focusing on integrated development of youth (jobs, enterprises and active citizenship); translating country strategy to impact led programs/ projects and embedding the change in approach across key stakeholders- staff, volunteers, partners. 2.Equipping Nigerian children and youth with 21st century skills to prepare them as active global citizens and entrepreneurs;( Life and career skills, innovation and critical thinking, and IT, Media and communication skills); strategic partnership with National youth service corps ;Promoted Youth Action Nigeria (YAN) 3.Child rights education and child protection through support of EIDHR project in Northern Nigeria; child friendly spaces for for conflict affected children; 4. International citizen service (ICS) a 3 year multi country project by linking young people from UK and in developing country to develop and execute community development projects; skills development and active citizens; Donor- DFID Budget-£57M . 5. Inclusive Education for marginalised girls/ other out of school children; Collaborated Education sector support project in Nigeria, Teacher Development Project for ICT capacity building of 5 Colleges of education in line with UNESCO framework; 6. Improving market access for poor (IMA4P): A multi country project -in Nigeria, Malawi, Tanzania and Malawi; leverages enterprises and jobs for women and youth in agricultural value chains; .
