Currently doing my PhD in Amrita university, Coimbatore in Supply Chain Responsiveness in Pump, Textile and Pharmaceutical Supply Chains. INTERESTS AND SPECIALTIES: Supply Chain Management - Structural Equation Modeling, Optimization (MILP, fuzzy systems) Operations Management Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Electrochemical Micro-machining and Advanced Manufacturing Techniques A counselor and psychologist, with 20 years of industrial and academic experience, managing dynamic senior management teams. I can identify inherent problems in individuals and create solutions that work. With a belief that intrinsic motivation can be cultivated in anyone with methodical training, I have transformed the lives of many people from being run-of-the-mill to becoming extraordinary individuals. My research interests are in analyzing the effects of motivation and personality on academic performance. I have trained students with poor academic performance, lack of motivation, lack of communication skills and personal problems into becoming better performers who understand their potential and lead better lives.

Currently pursuing my PhD in Supply Chain Management. I am interested in pursuing industry relevant projects and technical consultancy in the areas of Lean Management, Productivity improvement and Supply Chain Management. I have guided numerous projects - 4 projects in Implementation of Lean manufacturing for pump and automotive industries, modeling of a streamlined textile supply chain, design and fabrication of electrochemical and electro-discharge machines, Design and Fabrication of a Tele-operated Mobile Robot and a mobility robot for the blind, assembly line automation, plant layout, etc. I am teaching Enterprise Management, Tool Design, Non-conventional machining (special interest in Electrochemical micromachining), Statistical Methods in Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. With a belief that intrinsic motivation can be cultivated in anyone with methodical training, I have counseled and trained many students with poor academic performance, lack of motivation, lack of communication skills and having personal problems into becoming better performers and empowered them to lead better lives.
