A problem solver at heart, I’ve spent most of my career hitherto working with data in the Product, Customer & Marketing domain. I was one of the early members of the Data Science function at Snapdeal, and initially responsible for developing a deep understanding of the Snapdeal customer. Additionally, was part of the Growth function and co-managed DAU & repeat rates.
My current area of focus is to drive data enabled Product management at Snapdeal. This means developing a dispassionate understanding of the user and what they do on the platform, to eventually enable user and GMV growth. I was also instrumental in institutionalizing a culture of A/B testing firm wide, and continue to champion the cause.
Prior to Snapdeal, I was part of the Analytics business at Genpact and solved problems for retail & lending institutions. While here, I successfully built high performance data organizations ground up, and identified white spaces where such data sciences could be applied. I also often wore the hat of a consultant, structuring data driven value for enterprises around the world.
I am passionate about building objective, scalable solutions using data and have years of experience solving prediction, classification and optimization problems using applied statistics & machine learning.
