Short Biography

Currently, I am Director of Intercultural Services at Dwellworks, overseeing our cultural training division. Previously, I was Executive Director at DFA, Intercultural Global Solutions. I've been involved with cultural training for over 13 years and am an intercultural trainer specializing in the U.S. and Latin America. I provide training and coaching for individuals and groups on cultural awareness, cultural competency, and living & working abroad. I have lived in Argentina and Mexico and speak conversational Spanish and Portuguese. I hold an MA in Intercultural Relations from the University of the Pacific and the Intercultural Communication Institute and a BA in Global Economic Relations. I also earned my Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (CTEFL) while in Guadalajara, Mexico and have taught English to non-native speakers. I am a regular presenter at industry conferences and have been featured in several publications. My passion lies in helping people better understand other cultures, and themselves, in order to be successful across borders.
