Since Feb 2014, Ketan is an independent HR professional. Ketan’s services include training (knowledge / soft skills), purpose-survey, HR systems & policies (development, implementation, audit), teaching / training at B-Schools, mentoring start-ups, etc.
Ketan is a Management Graduate (IRMA-92), and over 20 years, has gained inclusive experience and expertise in HR and OD domains. Across his corporate career, Ketan was associated with Gujarat Gas (City Gas Distribution), Idea Cellular (Telecom), and Torrent (Pharmaceutical & Power) in Unit (Operations & Projects) and Corporate environs. During tenure with these organizations of varying size, age, maturity, and complexity, Ketan traversed almost the entire spectrum of HR & OD domains. In the process, he acquired hands-on understanding of HR challenges at different levels and impact of HR on business management & growth.
Some of Ketan’s representative accomplishments have been in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, talent engagement, talent retention, reward & recognition, HR policies formulation and rollout, technology deployment & integration, HR Climate survey, OHS, Gall-up survey, and learning & development.
Ketan possesses experience of being on both sides of M&A. First, when British Gas took over Gujarat Gas and second, when Idea Cellular took over Escotel. In addition, Ketan was a key member of HR team for OD interventions at Gujarat Gas as well as Idea Cellular. The experience at Torrent allowed Ketan to contribute to different domains of HR, i.e. Marketing, Corporate, Project (in Pharma) and Group Corporate. Lastly, Ketan was a member of Group Corporate HR team at Torrent, reporting to Whole-time Executive Director for a large part of this stint.
Ketan is a member of TiE and National HRD Network. To upgrade his knowledge base, Ketan has pursued Doctoral (Fellowship) program (2015-18) with the Academy of Human Resources Development, Ahmedabad.
