Dr. Kamal Kishore Khatri was born on 30th June, 1975 at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. He passed his bachelor of engineering in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 from M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur, India. He worked in industry for two years in the field of production and maintenance engineering. Then he completed his M. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) with specialization in Thermal and Fluids Engineering from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India in 2004. He did his Ph.D. from M.N.I.T. Jaipur, India in January 2011.
After completing master’s degree, he joined teaching profession as lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and he has been serving for last 10 years in engineering teaching. Presently he is working as Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of Mechanical-Mechatronics Engineering at The LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur (LNMIIT). He has also served in esteemed institutions of India including Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, and Mody Institute of Technology and Science Lakshmangarh before joining The LNMIIT. He is member of various professional bodies and reviewer of several international journals of repute. Presently he is doing research in the field of alternate fuels for IC engines, Cogeneration/Trigeneration, Renewable energy engineering, etc.
