Chief Marketing & Customer Loyalty at Central. In the 10 years here I have had the opportunity work in two very exciting retail concepts. Brand Factory – which is today’s India’s leading discount store chain and Central – one of India’s leading fashion department store. I joined the group in March of 2008 to head the marketing for Brand Factory. From 2008 to 2013 was responsible for taking the format – from 5 stores to 35 stores and from 170 Cr to 900+ Cr in sales turn over. Late 2011 I was given the mandate to head the marketing for Central. This was the start of an exciting journey. Importantly I was part of the team that played a role in the transformation of Central. From a mall to being positioned as a fashion destination for fashion-forward women customers. With a focus on customer insights, customer expectation, customer loyalty, and customer experience – Central, with 40 stores and upwards of 3000 Cr in sales, is the go-to destination for branded fashion.
