CUBE (Cisco Unified Border Element): Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) is an enterprise-focused session border controller (SBC), providing voice and video connectivity from the enterprise IP network to service provider SIP trunks. CUBE also provides services to help organizations solve problems and simplify networks. Using CUBE with SIP trunking, enterprises can lower costs, simplify voice networks, and extend collaboration services. There are several other benefits of using CUBE like SRTP-RTP conversion, H323/SIP interworking, Transcoding, Firewall, DOS attack prevention, Inter-operability with various Network devices like CUCM etc APP Controller for Detecting Voice Degradation in VOIP Network The idea proposed was to develop a System which can solve the current issues faced by Customer Support Engineers as well as Customers while degradation in the Voice Quality. When with voice quality issues like degradation etc. reported, the tool crawls across the network and collect data for troubleshooting. Intelligent analysis of collected data is done to identify the problematic network element and collect more data like Sniffer Traces from isolated network element to identify root cause of problem. Smart Multimodal Contact centre Worked with the Voice team to develop a System which can solve the current issues faced by customers while dialling in to Customer Support using JAVA, Android Framework, WebRTC and CUBE (SBC). Data Analysis is done on the basic information collected via different means ( QR code Scanner in this case) and in real time the case will be routed to the executive which in turn can give a call-back which is 2-way Audio-Video communication. While the call is active , User can use the mobile phone sensors and send the real-time data to the executive. A Web based (using WebRTC) and a Mobile based (using Android) Use-case was developed.
