It's been a great learning experience working in a stealth mode startup, building the operations from grass root level and taking it to the next level to scale up across India. Below is the summary of what I did at CARS24 - I. Built the SOP's from scratch for Retail, Sales and Operations to scale up & expand across India. II. Handled the operations in Delhi NCR taking care of all the pre-buying vehicle checks, vehicle documentation, logistics, inventory management, delivery process and ownership transfer of the cars. III. Assisted the Retail and Sales team across various functions during purchase and sale of a car to ensure that all the functions are running smoothly as per the defined processes. IV. I. Network Expansion - Every year close to 120 primary and 500 secondary new networks are added. I was involved in all the activities for pan India right from the upcoming locations planning, application, screening & finalization process, establishment of the dealership, progress monitoring including frequent on site visits, documentation and Inauguration. II. Product Manager, Online Portal - To make the expansion process faster & transparent, I was leading the product development of an online portal to make the complete network expansion process online where in right from the Application & selection of dealer till Inauguration various activities can be performed & monitored online. We reduced the lead time by 60 days which was 20% of the total time taken thus saving a lot of man hours in addition to huge amount of cost incurred by the company in the whole process.
