I am a machine learning and predictive modeling enthusiast working on cutting edge solutions using modern tools and techniques. I am sandwiched between Business Strategists and Marketeers on one side and Programmers and Database managers on other side. Be it conventional statistics or modern data mining algorithms, I apply what is necessary to solve the problem. I prototype my models using tools such as R, Python, Ruby, Matlab/Octave, SAS for implementing analytical algorithms. Besides I interface my models with SQL/HADOOP databases, Web enablement using Ruby on Rails / Django, Data Visualization using Tableau. Also, I am a certified SAP Hana consultant. I research in reimagining businesses through extensive application of analytics. Currently, I am reimagining student feedback system for real time decision support system for a Public University. I teach Quantitative Research and Advanced Quantitative Methods course and conduct workshops on SAP Hana, Data Visualization, Big Data Analytics regularly.
