• Developed system architecture model of Intel’s DSL modem device using SystemC. • As part of the modeling activities, I developed substantial knowledge of the ITU-T physical layer specifications for the device. I did complete SystemC modeling of the TPS-TC, PMS-TC sublayers in the process of validating the architecture and performance of the modem. • Developed C models for crucial signal processing blocks, to be used as benchmarks for verification of RTL. In the process, I acquired acute understanding of FFT/IFFT, windowing and cyclic extension, tone ordering process among other concepts. • Developed MATLAB environments (with Mex functions) for validation of C models of signal processing blocks. • Gained significant expertise in effective documentation techniques.
