I have more than 25 years of experience in health care operations and policy with over a $1 billion P&L responsibility.

I have extensive experience working with health care payers, providers and managed care organizations in creating ACOs, risk agreements, the development and evaluation of health care delivery and reimbursement systems, health care compliance programs, health care reform options and health care data analysis.

I have worked with health plans, employers and unions in assessing opportunities for improving health insurance benefit design, contracting and pricing strategies, performance improvement (including HEDIS), the analysis and design of cost containment options, and contracting and pricing strategies.

As a senior executive for several health plans, I was responsible for the overall operations of the health plan, including strategic direction, administration for all existing programs and the development of new programs to ensure goals and objectives were met or exceeded.

I led, and directed the overall improvement of operations including: provider contracting and relations, sales and marketing, claims operating system, call center responsiveness, medical management, regulatory compliance and finance.

I have served as the representative of the health plan to government entities and other external agencies and ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies.

I realigned provider network contracts and launched pay for performance initiatives and risk contracts for government sponsored and employer based products.

I developed processes and production standards to improve the quality of contract loading and claims processing.
