I’m working on an interesting real-life business problem with a respected company, collaborating with an 8-member team to generate pricing and market access strategies for a medical device. The company we are working with is positioned to launch a potentially revolutionary obesity therapy that is currently in phase 3 clinical trials.

I also took part in the Innovation Olympics, an eight-week action learning program offered by the IXL Center and the Global Innovation Management Institute. Working with senior executives from world-class organizations, this practical program challenged us to integrate our business knowledge to solve real innovation & growth issues. Over the course of this program, our team used a discipline-driven process, software enabled tools, and robust exercises to generate hundreds of insights and idea fragments, which we then focused and developed into credible tested and validated business concepts.

Since 1994, the Harvard-wide Pediatric Health Services Research (HSR) Fellowship Program has trained pre-doctoral fellows whose work is defining and addressing critical gaps in child health services research and the provision of primary care for children. The principal goal of this two-year program is to develop expert investigators whose research will fundamentally improve the capacity of the U.S. healthcare system to meet the needs of children and families. I’m pursuing my research in the Department of Newborn Medicine and Department of Radiology at Boston Children's and Brigham & Women Hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School. As a pre-doctoral fellow, I am currently conducting research related to brain imaging in a project funded by NIH . I am developing a new functional neuroimaging technology using ultrasound and EEG with mm temporal and spatial resolution.

I developed & designed this Biomedical Engineering resource website -- the first of its kind -- which provides students with study materials, job notifications, research updates, industrial training notifications, final year minor & major projects guidance and career counseling with regards to a future in Biomedical Engineering in India & overseas. I built this website in response to seeing the time spent by myself and others in trying to locate the best resources and updates to help us in our studies and our goal of working in the Biomedical field. So much time was wasted LOOKING, that could be used for STUDYING. I decided to take what I have learned and share with others, and save them hours of wasted time. Since then, I’ve built thousands of followers on social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. We’re a community of like-minded Biomedical Engineering students and professionals, sharing information to help us all succeed.
