Presently I am working with technology companies in pathology domain. I have established, standardized and validated new prognostic IHC in somatic (Breast, Lung, Colon) tumors. We are at interesting phase of translation medicine. How we adopt to new changes (Morphology to molecular/computational pathology) would determine our new frontiers in diagnostic arena.
In the past I have worked as consultant Histopathologist in various government & private organization. In these organizations, I have implemented quality standards in Anatomic pathology as per national accreditation requirements. I have initiated & cordinated tumor board meetings, Mortality meetings and Various research projects. I have been reviewer in two journals. I have publications (International & National), including a e-Book (Quality design in anatomical pathology) to my credit so far. Considering patient's safety, I have always felt the need to work with multidiciplinary team to solve problematic cases. It is important for us to make our colleagues know what criteria/terminology we use by mutual consensus. In developing country like India, where Healthcare is undergoing tranformational change, it is important for us to incorporate regulatory standards to bridge the loopholes.
